Colombia Juan Martin Striped Pink Bourbon Washed is an exceptionally rare, highly sought-after lot in the specialty coffee world. 
It brings together the cutting-edge agricultural research of the Juan Martin experimental farm, an incredibly scarce double-mutation variety, and the immaculate flavor clarity of a meticulous washed process. 

1. Producer & Origin: Finca Juan Martin
  • The Variety Garden: Established in 2018 in Sotará, Cauca (neighboring the famous Huila region), Finca Juan Martin is a high-altitude (2,050 meters) experimental farm managed by the specialty exporter Banexport. It serves as a benchmark for sustainable farming and processing innovation. 
  • Nutrient-Rich Terroir: Positioned high in the mountains near the Sotará and Puracé volcanoes, the trees thrive in mineral-dense volcanic soil and dramatic day-to-night temperature swings. 

2. Variety: Striped Pink Bourbon (Rayado)
  • A Genetic Rarity: This lot represents a rare double-mutation. Standard Pink Bourbon is already a scarce natural hybrid of Red and Yellow Bourbon, prized for its high sugar content (exceeding 20° Brix). 
  • The "Striped" Factor: The Striped (or Rayado) mutation causes the ripening coffee cherries to display striking, alternating vertical stripes rather than a solid color. This combination yields a complex cup profile that is only available in extremely limited microlots.
